How to Change your HP Photosmart C6340 Ink Cartridges Refill
- Check if the printer’s HP C6340 power is on. Press the Power button if the product isn’t on yet and please wait for it to become silent before you continue.
- Open the printer’s Cartridge Access Door. As the carriage moves into the access area, wait for it to take the proper cartridge replacement position before you continue.
- Press the tab in front of the cartridge to free it from the carriage, then gently pull the device out of the slot.
- Prepare the new HP C6340 Photosmart Ink Cartridge by removing its package and peeling off the plastic taping. Also, get rid of the orange cap beneath the cartridge by turning it counterclockwise until it breaks off.
- Match the color icons while you slip the HP Photosmart ink cartridge into the slot with the contacts facing down, then press the cartridge down until the new cartridge locks into position.
- Close the cartridge access door and align the printer for better print quality.
