How to Change your HP C5393 Ink Cartridges Refill

1. Check if the HP C5393 printer is on. Press the Power button if it’s turned off and wait till the machine is idle before you proceed.
2. Open your machine’s ink cartridge access door. The carriage should move to the center so wait until it becomes idle before you continue.
3. Press on the old ink cartridge then gently slip it off the carriage with your hands holding its sides. To get rid of the black ink cartridge, remove the cartridge on the right slot. To get rid of the tricolor ink cartridge, remove the ink cartridge on the left slot.
4. Open the new HP C5393 ink cartridge package then pull back the orange tab to separate the plastic wrap. Once unwrapped, twist the device’s orange cap counterclockwise and remove it.
5. Slip the ink cartridge at a slightly upward angle straight into the carriage and push down until it locks into place.
6. Repeat the procedure to replace the other empty color cartridges.
7. Close the ink cartridge door. The printer will instruct you to align the ink cartridges using the instructions on the LCD screen.
