How to Change your HP C5390 Ink Cartridges Refill

1. Make sure your printer’s power is on. If the machine if turned off, make sure it is switched on by pressing the Power button. Wait till the product becomes silent before you proceed.
2. Open your machine’s ink cartridge access door and let the carriage move to the machine’s center. Wait till the carriage is silent before proceeding.
3. Press the old cartridge’s front tab, then gently pull it up with your hands holding its sides to remove it from the slot.
4. Get the new HP C5390 ink cartridge, then pull the orange tab backward to peel off the plastic wrap. Turn the cap at the bottom counter-clockwise until it breaks off. You may need to twist forcefully to remove it.
5. Slip the ink cartridge into the empty slot and make sure the contacts face the printhead when you do this, then push the device down until it locks into place.
6. Repeat these steps with the color HP C5390 ink cartridges. Make sure the color icons on the slot and cartridge are identical.
7. Close the ink cartridge door and let the carriage return to its original position.
