How to Change your HP Photosmart C5373 Ink Cartridges Refill

  1. Turn the HP C5373 printer on, if it isn’t switched on yet.
  2. Open the printer’s top cover. The carriage will transfer to the right side of the cartridge access area – wait till it becomes quiet before proceeding.
  3. Press the empty ink tank down to free it, then gently pull it out of the carriage.
  4. Grab the new HP C5373 Ink Cartridge from its package, then remove the protective tape by pulling the pink tab. Twist the cartridge’s cap counterclockwise to remove it for the device.
  5. Slip in the ink cartridge at a slightly upward angle and press the device until it clicks into place.
  6. Repeat these steps when installing the other ink cartridges. For tri-color ink cartridge, remove the devices from the left slot. For black ink cartridge, remove the device on the right slot.
  7. Close the printer's top cover. The ink cartridges must be aligned for better printing quality.
