How to Change your HP C5324 Photosmart Ink Cartridges Refill

1. Turn on the HP Photosmart C5324 printer, if it isn’t turned on yet - wait until it stops moving before you proceed.
2. Open the printer’s ink cartridge access door and let the carriage move to the printer’s center – wait until it stops before you proceed.
3. To let go of the old ink cartridge, push the front tab, then gently pull it out of the slot.
4. Take the new HP C5324 ink cartridge from its package, then pull back the orange tab to unwrap it. Underneath the ink cartridge is an orange cap - twist it counterclockwise to remove it from the device.
5. Insert the ink cartridge into the vacant slot with the contacts and nozzles facing downward, then press it until it locks into position. Make sure that the colored icons of the cartridge and slot match.
6. If the ink cartridge doesn’t click into position, pull it out of the carriage, bend the tab away, then reinsert the device into the carriage.
7. Repeat the entire procedure with the other ink cartridges then close the ink cartridge access door.
