How to Change your HP C309C Ink Cartridges Refill

1. Turn on your HP C309C printer by pressing the Power Button, if it’s turned off.
2. Open your machine’s ink cartridge access door so the carriage will transfer to the printer’s center area. Once the carriage stops, you can proceed with the ink cartridge replacement.
3. Press the tab that holds the ink cartridge to unlatch it from the carriage then gently grab the device from the slot.
4. Remove the package of your new HP C309C ink cartridge, then yank the orange tab backward to get rid of the plastic wrap.
5. Snap the orange cap counter on the ink cartridge by turning it counterclockwise.
6. Insert the new ink cartridge into the available slot while making sure the contacts are facing the printer head, then push it down until it is seated securely. Check your ink cartridge’s colored icon just to make sure it matches the one on the slot.
7. If you’re having trouble snapping the ink cartridge into place, remove it from the carriage, press the tab in front of the cartridge, then insert the ink cartridge again into the carriage.
8. Close your printer’s ink cartridge access door. Once the other cartridges are added, the printer will instruct you to align them using the LCD screen.
