HOW DO I CHANGE THE INK CARTRIDGE ON MY HP PHOTOSMART 7525  PRINTER?

1. Please turn on your HP 7525 printer by pressing the Power Button. Proceed only once the printer becomes silent and idle.
2. Open the ink cartridge access door – the carriage will automatically move to the machine’s center.
3. To remove the empty ink cartridge, press the tab in front of it, then pull the device away from the slot.
4. Prepare the new ink cartridge for installation. Remove its plastic wrapping by pulling the orange pull-tab backward.
5. Get rid of the orange cap by twisting it counterclockwise until it separates from the ink cartridge.
6. Insert the new ink cartridge with the contacts facing the printhead and gently push the device down until it is firmly seated.
7. Repeat the same installation steps with the other color HP 564 ink cartridges.
8. Close the ink cartridge door – the carriage will automatically settle towards the printer’s right side.

A standard 564 ink cartridge can print 250 pages for black and 130 pages for photo black. The color cartridges, meanwhile, can print 300 pages for every color. There’s also a high-yield HP Photosmart 7525 ink XL cartridge option available for each tank. HP 564XL ink cartridges can print 550 pages for black, 750 pages for color, and 290 pages for photo black.

b. Can I just put black ink in my HP printer?

1. From your Windows PC, open the file that you want to print and then click on Print.
2. Click on Printer Properties
3. Go to Paper/Quality and then select Black & White as your Color option.
