How to Change your HP 6510 Ink Cartridges Refill
- Turn on the HP 6510 Ink by pressing the Power button, if it’s not turned on yet. Wait for the printer to turn silent and idle before you proceed.
- Open the HP 6510 ink cartridge access door and let the carriage should move to the access area - wait until it becomes idle before you continue.
- Press the tab in the ink cartridge’s front inward to free the device from the carriage, then grab it with your hands to remove it from the slot.
- Get your new HP 6510 Ink Cartridge Replacement and unpack it by pulling the orange tab from its plastic wrap.
- Twist the cartridge’s orange cap counter clockwise until it separates from the device.
- Insert the ink cartridge into the slot with the contacts and nozzle facing down, then push the ink cartridge down until it is seated securely.
- Ensure that every cartridge is installed firmly into the slot by doing a final check then close the ink cartridge access door.
- Wait for the printer to recognize the new ink cartridges before you start printing.
