How to Change Your HP 4520 Ink Cartridges

1. Turn on your HP 4520 ink printer. Connect its power cord to a suitable power supply and then press its Power button.
   
   
2. Open the Ink Cartridge Access Door. Carefully grasp the handles on both sides of the printer and then lift the access door to a fixed position
   .
3. The Carriage moves toward the center of the printer in the proper replacement position. Please wait for it to stop moving before you proceed.
   
   
4. Remove the Old or Empty Ink Cartridge. Lift the Lid on its slot to unlock the Cartridge and then pull it out from its slot.
   
   
5. Prepare the New Ink Cartridge. Unpack it from its packaging and then take out the plastic taping. Be sure to only touch the black plastic on the Cartridge to avoid potential damages.
   
   
6. Holding the New Ink Cartridge by its sides with the Nozzles facing the Carriage, slide it into the empty slot.
   
   
7. Lower the Lid on the cartridge slot to lock the New Ink Cartridge into place.
   
   
8. Do the same steps for any other Cartridge that you want to replace.
   
   
9. Close the Ink Cartridge Access Door.
