Frequently Asked Questions for Epson XP-610 Printer
a. What ink does Epson XP 610 use?
The Epson XP-610 small-all-in-one-printer uses Epson 273 ink in individual color cartridges (Black, Photo Black, Cyan, Magenta, and Yellow). Each color is available in standard and high yield XL cartridge sizes. The Epson 273XL high yield ink cartridge has more ink than the standard 273 and can print more pages. High yield Epson ink and toner cartridges also have a lower cost per page than standard ones.
The standard Epson 273 Black (T273020-S) and Photo Black (T273120-S) can print as much as 250 pages for each tank. Meanwhile, you’ll get up to 300 pages for every standard 273 Cyan (T273120-S), Magenta (T273120-S), and Yellow (T273120-S) ink cartridge. The 273XL, however, can print roughly twice as much. You can print up to 500 pages for Black and Photo Black and 650 pages for Cyan, Magenta, and Yellow.
b. Does Epson have an ink program?
Yes, Epson has an ink program called ReadyInk, a convenient system for automatically replenishing your printer’s ink levels. The smart technology will instantly detect once you’re device is already low on ink. It will then immediately instruct the retailer to deliver ink directly at your doorstep before you run out. For busy users and offices, this is a great way to automate ink replenishment.
c. Why does my Epson printer not recognize ink?
Your Epson Printer may not recognize your ink because it’s a remanufactured, compatible, or refilled cartridge. Numerous Epson printers have a built-in checking system that prevents you from using generic or refilled ink cartridges. If that’s the case, you can bypass this built-in ink checking system by resetting your cartridges.
- Life the printer’s top cover and then long-press the Ink button.
- Allow the Ink Cartridge Holder to finish moving towards the proper ink cartridge replacement position.
- Open the Lid of the unrecognized cartridge and then lower it back without removing the cartridge.
