HOW DO I CHANGE THE INK IN MY CANON MX490?

1. Plug-in your Canon Pixma MX490 inkjet printer to an electric outlet using its Power Chord and then press the Power button to turn on the device, if it’s not yet on.
   
   
2. Gently open the Front Cover, followed by the Paper Output Cover. The Cartridge Holder moves toward the proper cartridge replacement position.
   
   
3. Remove the Old Cartridge unit from the Cartridge Holder by pressing it down until it clicks. After you hear an electronic sound twice, carefully pull the tank out from the Holder.
   
   
4. Prepare the New Cartridge for installation by taking it out from its package. Next, remove its plastic sheet and Orange cap.
   
   
5. Install the New Cartridge. Slide in the front end of the tank into the Cartridge Holder at a slanting position. Push the cartridge inside and up until it snaps firmly into place. You will hear an electronic sound once to confirm a successful installation.
   
   
6. Gently close the Paper Output Cover, followed by the Front Cover.
