How do I change the ink in my Canon MP560 printer?
- Be sure the power is ON and gently open the Paper Output Tray.
- Lift up the Scanning Unit until it stops – the Print Head Holder should shift to the replacement position.
- Get rid of the ink tank using the lamp flashing. Gently push the tab and lift the ink tank to get rid of them.
- Have the new ink tank ready by unpackaging it and pulling the orange tape towards the arrow to remove it and the film. Hold the orange cap and then twist to remove it from the ink tank’s bottom.
- Put the new ink tank in. Insert its front end into the Print Head at a slanting position. Be sure the ink tank’s position matches the label. Push the ink tank’s mark until it locks into place. Ensure that the ink lamp lights are lit.
- Gently close the Scanning Unit.
