How to Change your Canon PIXMA MG8120B  Ink Cartridges Refill

  1. Switch on your Canon PIXMA MG8120B printer by pressing the Power button.
  2. Gently open the Paper Output Tray, then open the Scanning Unit Cover by lifting it. This prompts the cartridge holder to take the replacement position at the machine's center.
  3. Remove the old ink cartridge from its slot by pushing it down and pulling it out of the carriage with your thumb and index finger clasped at the sides.
  4. Unpack the new Canon MG8120B Ink Cartridge, peel off the protective film, and snap off the protective cap.
  5. Insert the new ink cartridge into its corresponding slot, then gently push until it clicks into place.
  6. Repeat steps 4 – 5 with the other color ink cartridges; as necessary.
  7. Close the machine’s scanning unit cover to finish the installation.
