How to Change your Brother MFC J885DW Ink Cartridges Refill
- Switch on your Brother MFC J885DW printer as it is required when replacing ink cartridges.
- Pull down the cartridge cover of your Brother MFC J885DW to open it, then check the LCD to determine the cartridge color that needs replacement.
- Push the empty cartridge’s lock release lever to release and remove the device with your hands.
- Grab and unpack your new Brother MFC J885DW ink cartridge by tearing off its wrapper. Don’t forget to get rid of its protective cap.
- Gently slide the new ink cartridge into the Brother printer following its arrow's direction, then push the cartridge in until it is firmly seated. Don’t forget to insert the cartridge in the specified color slot to avoid unnecessary problems later on. Do steps 3-6 with the other Brother replacement LC203 ink cartridges.
- Lift the lock release lever, then close the cartridge cover.
