How to Change your Brother MFC J480DW Ink Cartridges Refill
- Open the Brother MFC J480DW cartridge cover by pulling it down. The empty ink cartridges will be specified in the LCD in terms of their color - i.e., Black.
- Pull down the lock release lever to remove the specified ink cartridge color by lifting each with your hands.
- Grab your new Brother MFC J480DW Ink cartridge from its package then prepare it for installation.
- Do away with the yellow protective cap by twisting it counter-clockwise until it snaps, and be careful not to touch the contact points.
- Insert the ink cartridge into the right slot and in the direction of the label's arrow, then gently lift the lock release lever and push the cartridge until you hear the click.
- If you're replacing multiple ink cartridges, repeat steps 3-5 with the other Brother MFC-j480DW ink replacement cartridges.
- Close the Brother printer's cartridge cover.
