How to Change your Brother MFC J470DW Ink Cartridges Refill

  1. To get started, turn on your Brother MFC J470DW printer by pressing the Power Button and then opening the ink cartridge cover at the machine's right side.
  2. Push the cartridge down to unlock the release lever and remove the empty ink cartridge by lifting it up while holding it at the sides.
  3. Get rid of the packaging material that covers your new Brother MFC J470DW Ink cartridge by tearing it off from the side.
  4. Find the green knob on the cartridge’s protective cap, twist it clockwise to release the vacuum seal, and remove it from the device.
  5. Set the ink cartridge at the proper position aligned to the label’s arrow then insert the ink cartridge thoroughly into its slot – make sure it is installed correctly.
  6. Close the ink cartridge cover to complete the LC103 ink installation.
