If supported by your HP printer, you can print wirelessly with HP mobile printing solutions from laptops, tablets, or smartphones. You can choose from numerous mobile printing solutions for home or business environments on popular operating systems, including Android, Chrome, iOS, OS X, and Windows. So how do you connect your mobile device to your printer? There are several ways to go about it, and it will depend on the printer’s capability and location.
Wi-Fi: Take advantage of your laptop, phone, or tablet’s wireless capability to print to a printer near you that’s connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
Wireless Direct or Wi-Fi Direct: You can use this to connect directly to a printer near you, just like with a Wi-Fi network.
Cloud / Internet – Cloud or internet connection lets you print to an HP printer on another network or to a printer in a remote location.

am having the same problem. Tried to use a generic refill black cartridge for my deskjet HP 4652 cloud printer but they don’t fit so got a new 63 HP cartridge and even though I have installed it several times, have reset my printer, still get a “problem with cartridge, reinstall” every time and can’t even print a test page. What is going on?

The following steps might help resolve the issue:
1. Perform a Hard reset on the printer and make sure that the printer is connected directly to the wall outlet and not to the surge protector.
2. Remove all the ink cartridges from the printer.
3. With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer and also unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
4. Wait for 2-3 minutes, press and hold the power button on your printer for about 30 seconds to remove any additional charge.
5. Now plug back the power cable straight to a wall outlet without any surge protector or an extension cord and then plug back the power cord to the printer.
6. Turn on the printer and wait till the warm-up period finishes and the printer is idle.
6. Now insert the ink cartridges and then try to print a test page and check if it works.

Hi I have a hp 8100 I just got a new 950 XL black cartridge but it won’t be recognised, I don’t have the previous one didn’t realise I would need it so I threw it away, it seems to be the only way for the printer to restart and recognise the ink? I have as well cleaned the cartridge with a clean cloth. still nothing, this is literally the only issue with this printer it seems.
Not sure what to do now.

Internal memory reset might be the solution if you’ve tried performing a cleaning cycle already. Your printer should automatically recognize when you install a new cartridge and reset its internal memory, ensuring that it’s displaying full ink and toner levels. However, sometimes the printer just doesn’t do that correctly and believes that the old one, or no cartridge, is currently inserted instead. Is your HP Cartridge Protection disabled?
